G20 & Harassment
G20 is a occasion that India is celebrating, New Delhi is ready for the guests. The recent beautification is amazing and I personally love it.
For sure every Indian citizen would love that the world see us a beautiful country specially neat and clean. Buy isn't all this a fake presentation and what after G20?
For G20 a lot of things are changed and beautified that's amazing and every one is astonished to see our city looking so beautiful for the first time. And most of us can also see the dark side behind the beauty. The street vendors are thrown away from the street with pure harassing way. The police officer are showing no humanity to them, is this kind of beautification needed?
I feel our city is already a beautiful place to live as the beauty is in our people, who are sweet and hardworking. And we have a lot of things made so beautiful by our ancestors.
I will never blame street vendors to be on street, as being on street is their compulsion, as government is making homes for people living in slum why not a market place for these people. Isn't that better than doing all these occasional and temporary things.
These vendors are more helpful than government as they provide us fruits & vegetable or any other things at cheap rate that help us to stay in our budget. And they are not putting their cost on us as price like malls and shop vendors do.
They are thrown off the street plus threatened to not be around the places, isn't it like hiding things? They have all rights to sell things and be it anywhere. How will government hide the poverty and poor beggars on the street that also temporarily.
I didn't like this idea of show-off for foreigners while harassing the our own country members working hard every day to save our time and keep ourselves fulfilled with our daily needs.
I'm writing this for myself so that I can remember to do something around my capacity.
